This summer has been a big one for the Cuchara Valley Recreation Program! We have had record numbers for events.
Our fun run was the biggest so far! We sold out of shirts, mostly before race day. We enjoyed seeing everyone thanks for coming out!
Also, congrats to our fun run winners!
For the men:

Ryan Dent from Gainesville, GA with a time of 6:54

For the women:
Elizabeth Oswald from Johns Creek, GA with a time of 7:59

Julia Richardson from Tulsa, OK with a time of 9:06
We also had our biggest hike! 55 PEOPLE came out to hike to the tree line of West Spanish Peak.
It was a great crowd, but when we reached our lunching spot the clouds began to roll in. We all raced down to beat rain and some ended up facing rain and hail. But everyone made it back down safe and sound!
