I grew up in the Cuchara Valley in the summer times. I can't get enough of the wild, natural world that abounds in and around Cuchara! I love the valley so much, I am spending my first year of retirement here to see a whole year play out in front of my eyes. I look forward to watching the seasons change and being out in it all! I've grew up coming to Cuchara with my family every summer and eventually made my way out to Grad School in southern Colorado. Cuchara is full of adventures and fun things to do and I can't get enough of it. I am currently living and working in Castine, Maine where I am an athletic trainer for the sports team at a small college called Maine Maritime.

I love nature and being in the outdoors. I grew up every summer in Cuchara and loved it. I would love to be able to spend more time out here these days but I am currently working in Atlanta at Zoo Atlanta with Primates. I went to college at North Georgia where I majored in Biology and I am a animal lover and love working with them.

Some of my favorite memories growing up come from the summers I spent in Cuchara with my family. I love getting away and being in such a beautiful place! I don't get to spend as much time out in Cuchara as I'd like because I am working a lot in Atlanta during the summers. I currently work some petsitting around my home in Atlanta while not in school. I am in school studying Mass Communications, playing soccer for the school and loving every minute of it!
